Requiem

Doris Black
1/20/26 - 9/13/06

No more pain, Grandma.

POSTSCRIPT: The funeral's on Monday, which you think would be redundant. And yet. Thanks to everybody from pretty much everywhere for all the condolences and well-wishes. I would like to point out to everyone that there is a difference between being sad and being surprised, though.

Whoa. That was sudden. Thoughts and prayers and condolences & all the usuals are directed to you and yours.

Of course, you know how to locate me (my cell, email, what have you) if you need friendly, semi-evil ears.

Take it easy.

I know there really isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been said. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. If there is anything I can do, you know how to reach me. Even so, I may be in touch. In getting through the loss of my sister, one of the things that helped the most was the time I spent with friends. There's a dinner in your future.

My condolences, Butch. It sounds like it was pretty sudden, too.

I do hope you are hanging in there.

Rest in peace, Doris.
